As we approach the start of a new season we wish to take this opportunity to thank ALL of you – our coaches, volunteers, parents, players and the local community for continuing to Hold Firm and comply with Covid-19 guidelines.

These are strange and unusual times, but I think as we have seen from the childrens recent return to school – they are resilient and ready for change! They have taken to good cough etiquette / washing hands / sanitising / social distancing better than a lot of adults and so we should expect that they will enter back into Football life just as easily – but we expect the GROWN UPS to play their part just as much as the children!

Please Remember the SMART Guidelines

S – Parents/Guardians should SUPPORT Club Guidelines and Officers.

M – Parents/Guardians should MAINTAIN Social Distancing AT ALL TIMES

A – Parents/Guardians are not permitted to enter the training/game AREA

R – Parents/Guardians should REMEMBER to follow equipment guidelines (all players should bring their own hand sanitiser and labelled water bottles)

T – Parents/Guardians should TALK to their children about the safer return to football

We are relying on all coaches / parents to be responsible and to ensure that were possible we maintain social distancing before / during / after football matches. Keeping a 2M/6FT distance is the minimum we can do as a club. We strongly recommend the use of Face Coverings wherever possible.

Remember you are representing CORDUFF F.C. when you travel as a team and so we would also expect that when at away games guidelines are adhered to and that you follow the Away Clubs guidelines without hesitation.

NB: CONTACT TRACING: When it comes to CLUBZAP – it is MANDATORY that we ensure this is done for ALL TRAINING AND GAMES! Please remember to CLICK YES or NO when attending training / games to comply with Contact Tracing, as in the unlikely event of a possible case within the club we need to be able to pass all contacts to the HSE.
