Our sincerest gratitude to Paddy McDonough who steps away as out 11-a-side fixture secretary of many years.

We regularly posted out requests for people to come on board over the years and very few people responded to the call, but Paddy was an exception and having had a stint as a football secretary many years ago, he took to the role immediately.

At the start of every week Paddy reached out to managers, the league and referees to loosely firm up fixtures but would then double confirm once the weather and pitch checks were complete.

Paddy had what all good fixture secretaries had - good communication skills, diligent process and most importantly how the game is ran off the field.

Thank you Paddy for your contribution to the club and enjoy a well earned break.
